Constantinople Penhaligon's is best worn on a formal occasion.

Constantinople was created by British master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, and released in 2011. The fragrance is a rich, woody oriental, with top notes of bergamot, cardamom, and black pepper; middle notes of rose, jasmine, and clove; and base notes of amber, incense, patchouli, and vanilla. It is named for the city of Istanbul, which was formerly known as Constantinople.

Some similar perfumes with a similar smell are Tabac Blond by Caron, Chergui by Serge Lutens, and Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford.

I'm not sure if Constantinople is a long lasting perfume, but Penhaligon's does have a number of long lasting fragrances in their line. Try one of their signature scents, like Bluebell or Emily, for a fragrance that will last all day long.

There is no definitive answer, as Constantinople Penhaligon's can be worn in any season. However, many people believe that the best season for wearing this particular fragrance is in the autumn or winter, when the weather is cooler and the days are shorter.

Constantinople Penhaligon's smells like a mix of spices, citrus, and floral scents.
