I cannot speak for Mark Buxton, but Black Angel, the fragrance, is a unisex vanilla oriental fragrance with gourmand facets. Top notes are bergamot, anise and caraway; middle notes are honey, lavender, coconut, jasmine and rosemary; base notes are tolu balsam, Peru balsam, amber, patchouli, musk and vanilla.

Mark Buxton is a British perfumer who has worked on some of the most iconic fragrances of the past few decades.
